Club Day is a time when Outrigger Canoe Club members gather for a little friendly intra-Club rivalry that can include anything from triathlons and flag races on the beach to blanket volleyball and canoe races with brooms as paddles and innertube or surfboard water polo. Club Day is usually held in May before the start of the busy athletic season. Mostly, it’s a time for members to get together and have some fun. Each of the Athletic Subcommittees get together to plan an event and tout activities they will be sponsoring during the summer. Here’s a look at some of the past Club Day events.
