Henry A. Asch was elected to Life Membership for his many years of service to the Club. He was elected to the Board of Directors from 1918 to 1924, where he was chair of the Entertainment Committee. In 1925 he was elected the Club’s Auditor and chaired a committee dedicated to helping the Club grow its membership and facilities. One of their big projects was finding a way to finance the move of the Pavilion from the lagoon to a location on the beach near Kalakaua Avenue.
