This trophy was donated to the Outrigger for the Dad Center Junior Trophy by Susan and Jay Dowsett. The trophy depicts a cross section of a canoe showing the rigging. The canoe sits on a wooden pedestal. Jay, a prominent local canoe builder and OCC member, created the canoe model for the Friends of Hokulea and Hikianalia to show how an ‘iaku is tied to a canoe. It is a stunning work of art.
