This silver cup was won by the Outrigger Canoe Club in the 1945 Macfarlane Regatta.  The 12-man relay team was composed of Duke Kahanamoku, Tom O’Brien, Tom Arnott, Carlos Rivas, Jim Fernie, Thad Ekstrand, B. Ireton, B. Seal, P. Caricof, Don Denhart, J. Peacock and Tom Kiakona.

In 1992 for the Macfarlane Regatta’s 50th anniversary, the Club held a relay race in celebration of the 1943 event with the Canada Dry Cup being presented once again to the winner.  OHCRA has since declined renewal of the race due to safety consideration.
