This is the oldest swimming trophy in the Outrigger Canoe Club Trophy Catalog.  The silver cup was won by the OCC 400-yard special relay team in an AAU Swimming Meet in Honolulu in September 1917.

This beautiful silver cup was presented by The Liberty House to the Outrigger Canoe Club for winning the highest number of points in the women’s events at the Victory Swimming Carnival in Honolulu Harbor, May 30-31, 1919.

This trophy was won by Harold M. Sexton in 1932 for winning the Boys Under 18 division of the Outrigger Canoe Club Annual Distance Swim. Time: 19:13-2.5.

George “Dad” Center

This plaque was presented posthumously to George “Dad” Center, a Pioneer Swimming Coach, in Hawaii and the United States, by the International Swimming Hall of Fame in May 1991 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Dad coached Outrigger and Hawaii swimming teams from the founding of the Club until his death.  He produced numerous local, state and national swimming champions, as well as Olympic champions.  He was the U.S. Olympic Swimming Coach in 1920.
