Outrigger has honored its athletes since the Club began fielding teams. Early banquets honored single sports, such as football or basketball.
In 1968 the Athletic Sponsors and the Winged “O” began honoring all of the Club’s athletes at annual banquets. By the late-1980s there were so many sports and so many participants that each athletic committee held its own awards banquet.
In 2019, the Entertainment Committee again sponsored an all-sport Athletic Awards Banquet. To see the honorees click below.
