For the Record

In November 1984, the Outrigger Canoe Club’s monthly Outrigger magazine began a column titled For the Record. Members were invited to submit the results of their participation in local, national and international athletic competition. Athletic accomplishments include bicycling, canoe racing, canoe surfing, kayak, marathon, one-man outrigger canoes, paddleboard, running, surfing, surfki, swimming, tennis, triathlons, volleyball, windsurfing and more.  These lists of results are not intended to be complete records of members’ participation.  They include only the results that were self reported for the Outrigger magazine.  Beginning in January 2019 the results were no longer published in the Ama magazine but are reported here in the month the event was held.
